It’s bad enough seeing non-natives posting this stuff…why is this being given ‘legitimacy’ at all?  Whose specific traditions are these from?  There is no ‘native american culture’ and these certainly don’t apply to my traditions.  We’re battling some very severe ignorance about the diversity of our cultures, and this kind of pan-Indian bullshit doesn’t help.
