Have you found any photographs of native people wearing crowns and glittery robes to "share the beauty of European culture"?
Sure haven’t. It wouldn’t be the greatest comparison, unfortunately, since native peoples don’t have the structural power to erase and oppress settler European cultures. We could dance paso dobles while wearing lederhosen and clogs, with powdered wigs on our Bacalhau à minhota munching heads and shiny fleurs-de-lis painted on our bums and the vital contextual difference would undermine it all…despite the gallons of white tears this would cause.
